About this role

As a Software Intern (ID: 6001) at Axonis, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our AI software product. This is an incredible opportunity to learn while contributing to real projects that impact thousands of users. You’ll gain exposure to both manual and automated testing approaches, working with industry-standard tools and methodologies.

What you will do

  • Manual Testing Fundamentals. Execute test cases, identify bugs, and document findings with precision
  • Test Case Development. Create comprehensive test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
  • Automated Testing Exposure. Learn automation frameworks and contribute to automated testing for integration, end-to-end, and unit testing
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting. Use professional tools like GitLab to track issues and communicate with development teams
  • API Testing. Explore backend testing using tools like Testament or similar platforms
  • Performance Testing Basics. Understand load testing concepts and participate in performance validation
  • Agile Methodology. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

What we are looking for

  • Academic Foundation. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Analytical Mindset. Strong attention to detail and natural curiosity about how things work
    Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to think critically and identify edge cases
  • Communication Skills. Clear written and verbal communication for bug reporting and team collaboration
  • Basic Programming Knowledge. Comfortable coding in Python or Angular
  • Eagerness to Learn. Genuine interest in software quality and testing methodologies
  • Team Player. Collaborative attitude and willingness to ask questions

The details

  • Duration. 10-20 weeks depending on your availability
  • Schedule. 40 hours a week M-F for full-time, 20 hours a week for part time.
  • Compensation. $25/hr
  • Location. Remote
  • Start Date. Flexible
