As a Backend Software Engineer (ID: 2001) at Axonis, you’ll be the technical backbone driving our most critical systems. What you will do

  • System Architecture. Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks
  • API Development. Create robust, well-documented APIs that power our web and mobile applications
  • Microservices Design. Build and maintain distributed systems with proper service boundaries
  • Performance Engineering. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for high-throughput systems
  • Code Quality Leadership. Lead best practices, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior developers
  • Technical Decision Making. Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns for optimal solutions

What we are looking for

  • Python Mastery. 5+ years of advanced Python development with deep understanding of language internals
  • Data Engineering. Knowledge of pandas, NumPy, or data pipeline frameworks
  • AI Integration. Experience integrating AI models into production systems
  • Security Expertise. Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
  • API Design Excellence. Proven track record building RESTful APIs
  • Distributed Systems. Experience with microservices architecture, message queues, and event-driven systems
  • Cloud Platform Knowledge. Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure services
  • Performance Optimization. Demonstrated ability to profile, debug, and optimize high-load applications
  • Leadership Skills. Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives
  • DevOps Skills. Familiar with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation
